// FAQ //

YOU MAY FIND ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS HERE. I HOPE THIS HELPS! BUT IF NOT, SEND ME AN EMAIL OR GIVE ME A CALL. AND I'M ALWAYS UP FOR COFFEE!

1 // What form of payment do you accept?
You can pay by cash or cheque.
2 // When is payment due?
Unless otherwise specified, payment is due in full at the time of the photo session.
3 // What should we wear?
I think that bright, bold colors look best in photos. For family photos it can be helpful to coordinate your outfits a little just so that one person doesn't stick out. :) But you don't have to be completely "matchy matchy" either! It's also really good to avoid clothing with large patterns, prints and words because that can be distracting in photos.
4 // Can I bring a second outfit for myself (or for my kids) to change into?
You can if you want to! Keep in mind that shoots last about an hour, so we'll have to allow for time to change.
5 // When do I get my photos back?
For weddings, your photos will be available 5 weeks after your wedding. For engagement and lifestyle portrait sessions, your images will be ready in 3 weeks.
6 // How far in advance should we book?
For lifestyle portrait sessions, booking 1 - 2 months in advance is usually good. September and October book up quickly though so if you are wanting to book photos during those months the earlier you book the better.
7 // This shoot is mainly for my child's birthday, but is it alright if we take some family photos too?
Absolutely!
8 // Is there an extra charge if have additional people outside of our immediate family join for photos?
I love families of all shapes and sizes and I'd be happy to give you a quote based on your specific needs.
9 //What happens if it's raining? Or snowing? Or if it's so windy that we might blow away? (Gotta love Manitoba weather...)
We can either come up with Plan B (i.e. an indoor location) or we can reschedule.
10 // What's in your camera bag?
Let's see, I have a lot of stuff in my favorite camera bag, not unlike my purse... :) Of course my camera and favorite lens, an extra battery, a bunch of memory cards and a flash. And then I have a couple pockets for my necessities - gum, iPhone, kleenex, my favorite chapstick (aveeno), some lip gloss and hand sanitizer. And if I'm going to be shooting for a long time, then I always pack snacks too - granola bars and trail mix are my favorite staples. :)
